Grandma

It was time for another Wisdom Wednesday on the Trixie Scraps blog.

My grandma passed away in June and since her passing, my thoughts have turned to her quite a lot. She was a huge influence in my life and was very involved in my life. It was hard to lose her, but we knew it was her time and that she was ready, so in some ways it wasn't as hard as it could've been.

Anyway, I knew I wanted to create a layout about her and so finding the quote I found for this entry was a wonderful find. You can read more about the quote in my post here. Below you'll find my layout.

Hotel Life

It was time for another Fonts We Love post on the Trixie Scrap blog. I knew I wanted to work with Summer Road Trip again, but I needed to find the RIGHT font. As I explain in my post, I spent way too much time looking for the font, but I think it paid off as it coordinates with the kit alpha and it's still legible.
